There is nothing i can find about it in google beside it could have to do with root/guest problem.
Yes this is no doubt a permissions problem. I battled with this when creating the module. I will try to reproduce and fix it. For now you can try changing everything in the Tor folder to be owned by guest.

From root console

Code: Select all

chown -R 1000:1000 /opt/tor-browser*
How do i become super user?

You can add this command to /etc/rc.d/rc.local file in order to fix permanently this error in case of future modifications inside tor-browser directory.

Hi Brokenman,

there is an update for the TOR-Bundle, can you please update the package 64bit or tell me how to upgrade it myself?
This would be very kind!

EDIT:
When I extract the xzm File from you I can find the opt folder contains exactly the files which can be downloaded from the torbundle website - so I can just replace them? I am corrious about the other Folders in the xzm like "log" which contains package files I dont know what they do.

Thank you in advanced!
regards

Yes exactly. The tor bundle is statically compiled so you can simply replace everything in the opt folder. I would also do:

Code: Select all

chown -R 1000:1000 /opt/tor-browser-bundle
If you have permission problems when trying to start, then run the above code (not exactly sure of folder name in /opt) before repacking the final module.
