Hello. I have a window with a color that is too dark to read the menu item names. How do I change the dark red to something lighter?

Is there a way to keep the root user indicator color option but change the color to something lighter? Yellow or white for example?

The color is taken from a gtk style so you could create a new gtkrc file especially for spacefm and start it with: GTK_RC_FILES=/path/to/gtkrc spacefm

You are right the default red is a terrible color for a black menu. The good news is the indicator icon when in root mode is still RED which helps to tell which mode you are in.

Some day I may be able to do that but that is so far beyond me at this point.
