[SOLVED] How to load modules at boot?

Post#1 by Slaxmax » 03 Jan 2013, 10:17

I created some modules, but they do not load at boot.
I put the modules in the Modules folder on flashdrive.
I use these modules in Slax, but I think that is different charging in Porteus, right?

Yes they should go in the modules directory which is inside the porteus directory on the media from which you are booting. Please boot into porteus without the modules and then activate them through a console: activate /path/to/modules.xzm and let us know the output. It could be corrupt modules.

By the way i am moving this thread to the appropriate location.

@Slaxmax

first of all - make sure that modules end with .xzm and not .sb :wink:
Please add [Solved] to your thread title if the solution was found.
