I read that drivers for 3.0 may or may not be installed. does porteus support 3.0. Is there much difference.

drivers for usb 3.0 controllers are in the kernel for some time now.
depends on particular usb stick read/write speed.Is there much difference
but generally speaking porteus installed on usb 3.0 stick should be faster.
i do not have such controller on my PC so can't tell exac numbers.
