Does Porteus support LZM modules?
nope - and i doubt it ever will (at least officially).
there are at least 2 resons for that:
a) Slax 7 may not follow our line of development. we used to stick to stable slackware version (with only few backports from -current which i feel are "safe") while Tomas M wants to upgrade to -current for the final release.
b) Slax has a long history of bad quality modules and according to slax's creator blog that wont change anytime soon.

sorry about that.
Please add [Solved] to your thread title if the solution was found.

hello
if the module is lzm sq4 you must change the extension LZM for XZM to decompress it in porteus without problems

I thought that Porteus was the new name of Slax.
Je pensais que Porteus était le nouveau nom de Slax.

LZM : Slax packages ? cannot be used with Porteus. It's the final answer. Ai-je bien compris ?
