Few Modules not working after Updating Porteus 5.01

I had got many modules, but when I got update, few didn't work, like my draw.io or pCloud apps.... can someone tell me what to do?

Vinnie! I wrote that I had already got those module and app images installed, but when I updated, they stopped working... so need some solution or anything missing.

sorry I just wanted to provide you with a temporary solution, I am also a newbie, I thought when you said 'modules' you were referring to modules.xzm not .appimages.

I have porteus 5.01 and tried the draw.io appimage, it works for me.

hi, you have to start the bin of the software on the terminal, if you have the /usr/bin/name of the software, open a terminal and write on the terminal the path of the bin,i think also the appimage can run in this way,but you have to try if work,also if you open a terminal and tab the esc key you have a resume of the software that you have on system. like this:

you don't need sudo (in fact, i would advise to never run an appimage as root)
testing here, drawio-x86_64-24.6.4.AppImage also runs without problem.
why yours is asking for avahi is mysterious..
(you can get avahi here: https://download.salixos.org/x86_64/15. ... 64-1gv.txz if you want to try that)

quite probably, one or more of your modules is having an effect, ie. making drawio 'think' it needs avahi for some function(possibly printing)
i would expect it'd work in 'always fresh' mode..
but anyway, try grabbing that avahi package from salix, convert it to a module and see how that goes..

aside from that, a note about a module:
x265-3.5-x86_64-1alien.xzm >> the version in 002-xtra is at 3.5

made avahi-20240306_709e60f-x86_64-2.txz module, but didn't work yet.

Also what do you mean by (aside from that, a note about a module:
x265-3.5-x86_64-1alien.xzm >> the version in 002-xtra is at 3.5) if there is something wrong, how to correct.

hi avahi need to reboot to work properly,maybe in extra you have the same version working of x265 take a look
