Which file format do i put the porteus files in?

Post#1 by Potatopotato » 22 Jan 2024, 07:44

So rn i am using a 8gig USB 2 usb partitioned into 2 separate things. one is like around 700mb FAT32 and the other is like 6gigs ext4. I have all my proteus files in the FAT32 format part but when i boot the drive it doesnt recognize the ext4 and tells me i still need to use the Save Manager to save. now i dont understand because before i tried just putting the efi folder into the FAT32 and all the rest in ext4 and that didnt even start. so i would just like to know if its necessary to have 2 partitons one for FAT and 1 for ext4 to use it or just ext4. i want it to save all my stuff automatically without using the manager. all i wanna know is how many partitions i need and which files should go in which. i have dell g5 laptop also if that helps
