Thank you for reply, beny. I downloaded that file and I can extract that file using Terminal...I ran : slackpkg install package-name where package-name means file name of txz file. But I could not find where the resultant files were saved.beny wrote: ↑17 Aug 2023, 16:24hi, take a look at this link:https://slackware.nl/slakfinder/index.p ... e=#results try if work for you, salix and slackware have the same software, but if you search something slakfinder help you.

The usual way is the software is installed in your system.softappweber wrote: ↑18 Aug 2023, 13:32I ran : slackpkg install package-name where package-name means file name of txz file. But I could not find where the resultant files were saved.
You can alter that e.g. give it a different ROOT path, then the package will be installed there. Then you can use dir2xzm to create a module.
Or when there is no need for altering any files after install then you can convert the package directly, e.g. like so:
Code: Select all
txz2xzm package1.txz
Cheers!
