Porteus

New to porteus. Need to understand how the system access the remote share folders. Here is the real life example:
- i have a shared folder on my UNRAID NAS
- i go to 'networks' on my laptop running porteus v.5
- i can see the folder, but when I click on it nothing happens. Login to porteus as 'root' doesn't change anything in this regard

Type your login and password from user (account) of NAS samba server (not from Porteus OS).

forgive my ignorence , but do you mean i have to run a samba server on porteus? if yes where is it? or is it something i need to start from the terminal like xxx.run? Thanks.

thanks Blaze, but it did not work. I don't have USM on v.5 I guess i need to downloaded from somewher else and convert to XZM
