Hello-
I've just started working with Porteus Desktop. I've been able to boot from a USB on an HP Mini computer, but not on a Lenovo Thinkpad. ISO flashed to the USB Stick via etcher on a Zorin distro.
Not sure where to look for a cause. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

USB Boot not working

Hi marcsitkin, welcome.
Without an error msg it's kinda hard to know what the problem is.
I suspect the Lenovo machine is UEFI based and you didn't copy all the Porteus ISO's files and folders to the USB drive. Did you read the ISO's USB_INSTALLATION.txt file?
Another possibility if the machine is UEFI based, it has Secure Boot enabled. If that is the case disable the Secure Boot option.

Also, marcsitkin , please report back if the tips from Ed_P did help you solve the issue and how you solved it so that others with a Lenovo Thinkpad can learn from that.
Thanks in advance.
