i see movies with subtitle .srt
but persian language not supported and words is messy
i open .srt file with Mousepad text editor and show me this error:

the document is not UTF-8 valid
other valid encoding were found please choose below.

when i choose WINDOWS-1256 its ok and i save it
but in video players its not ok and subtitle still messy

how can i add persian support to media player like mplayer or celluloid player?

Download mpv conf file from:
https://github.com/mpv-player/mpv/blob/ ... c/mpv.conf
uncomment (remove #) from line 123 #sub-codepage=cp1256. Put conf file in /home/guest/.config/mpv and open movie with mpv Media Player.
For Celluloid try to add "sub-codepage=cp1256" in Preferences>Miscellaneous.
