Easier to use PorteuX because pipewire is native in all spins, including not just the current (rolling) version but also the stable one.

Use pipewire instead of pulse audio

Yes, but pipewire has a reputation of screwing up Midi-files, specially on older hardware ( using timidity++, Pianobooster and a few other ones)
The way around is:
1--VLC with a plugin, widely available
2--dmidiplayer
3--a few other ones ( including Audacious in your ISO )
What-ever.....I just want to bring Midi files to your attention
I have 81252 on my computer...NO joke !
