Here is a place for your projects which are not officially supported by the Porteus Team. For example: your own kernel patched with extra features; desktops not included in the standard ISO like Gnome; base modules that are different than the standard ISO, etc...

I do not know the Porteus package manager well.
(I knew old version well and rewrote it by myself. Now I have forgotten everything.)
And my power is poor.

@chromer,

Slackware has moved a lot since Porteus 4. Some software like mozjs required only by Cinnamon is now part of Slackware.
For the upcoming Porteus 5, I have created Cinnamon 4, and in our internal testings, it looks quite good.
