openbox DE module for porteus4.0 64bit

Here is a place for your projects which are not officially supported by the Porteus Team. For example: your own kernel patched with extra features; desktops not included in the standard ISO like Gnome; base modules that are different than the standard ISO, etc...

try this one: removed link see here: openbox DE module for porteus4.0 64bit (Post by ncmprhnsbl #81242)
the basic how of it:
added openbox, compiled with imlib2 support (openbox from slackware in 002-xorg doesn't have this)
and some perl modules for obmenu-generator(rebuilt/replaced perl-gtk2, added perl-pango, perl-glib, perl-cairo)
and edited the menu with icon paths

openbox DE module for porteus4.0 64bit

After installing the new openbox module while changing the settings, tint2 revealed an error. After entering the properties of the panel, tab panel, selecting the "compact" option and confirming the the panel looks as if the two panels are overlapping each other. In addition, two loudspeaker icons appear.
I don't know how to fix this. Please help.

I think I found the cause of the tint2 and conky double display.
There are two Autostart files:
"/home/guest/.config/openbox/autostart"
and
"/ etc / xdg / openbox / autostart"
and if the entries are repeated, the items fire twice.
However, I haven't removed the double volume icon on the panel.

yep, here's one with the doubled entries removed, seems to be operating correctly now : 003-box-64-20210128.xzm
