1. Why use Engrampa (GTK) instead of using Ark (Qt).

2. It seems that the DND issue in Engrampa + Pcmanfm-Qt has been solved. https://github.com/lxde/pcmanfm-qt/issues/488

Because Ark depends on a lot of libs (KF5 family, for example), and I want to offer a light DE -- my LXQt module now has now just 33mb, including audio/video player, torrent client, pdf viewer, simple text editor, archive manager, calculator, etc.

Yeap! I've opened this issue there. Let's wait for a build :)

To set Transmission as the default program for magnet links: gvfs-mime --set x-scheme-handler/magnet transmission-qt.desktop

@babam, thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately this doesn't fix the problem when clicking on a magnet link inside Chromium-based browsers, like Opera. Instead of opening Transmission Qt, we get just a new empty tab :(

@babam, thank you very much for the tip. But that solution is old and isn't recommended anymore.

This issue with magnet links is a known problem. LXQT developers are aware of this and will fix it soon, I hope. :good:
