drag and drop : had no network and forgot the specifics of the bug :p ... i wonder if its to do with dragging from gtk(engrampa) to qt(pcmanfm-qt)..
system entry "Porteus Modules" is jsouzas script
can be got from my openbox TREE
/opt/porteus-scripts/extra/pmodules.sh
and a link in /usr/bin pmodule.sh
or simply leave outthe .desktop file
consider using version numbers on your module for clarity

Thanks for your support! I've found that some libs were missing. I've uploaded them, and now nmcli can run (although it says 'plugin missing'), but still no wifi connection. Any ideia?

I'll check this soon.

Hmmm... Maybe. Engrampa says I don't have authorization to extract to any folder, except Desktop, which doesn't use pcmanfm-qt. I'll try a qt-based extractor.

Yeah, I'm lazzy and don't want to change the link all the time

I've made some changes (upload finishes in 10min) and now wifi is working on my second machine. But first you have to manually edit the connection through nm-applet (the icon on try) and put your password. Can you test, please?
EDITED: it seems that we need gnome-keyring in order to nm-applet can be able to ask for the password automatically. I'll do this later.

Thanks, brokenman! Now it's fully working!
(new upload finishes in 10min)
If you could test and check for anything you don't agree, it would be great to make it official. What you think?

confirming nm-applet/wifi working perfectly here
p7zipfm:
Code: Select all

wxGTK says USM >>tested works now (on a .zip at least)

Great, ncmprhnsbl! I was using a wrong wxGTK package, that's why 7zFM wasn't working. Now it's running flawlessly. New version uploaded. What else is missing?
BTW, look how beautiful is
Lxqt memory consumption on AF mode. 8)

Great contribution fulalas!
Could you please add python-2.7.11-x86_64-2.txz to your lxqt desktop module to get it to work with the blaze's printing module. See
viewtopic.php?f=53&t=6232&p=51077#p51077
Adding cups and making some adjustments according to blaze procedure would be great
viewtopic.php?f=53&t=6232&p=51077#p51077
Thanks.

Thanks, francois.
I answered in the topic you've linked. But I think you've repeated the two links.

second last module:
some ownership and permissions wrong:

a bit blanket coverage but hopefully wont break anything: (possibly some things in etc that shouldn't be readable by 'others', tho maybe not in 003)
Code: Select all
chown -R root:root 003-lxqt
chown -R guest:users 003-lxqt/home/guest
chmod -R 755 003-lxqt
chmod -R 700 003-lxqt/root

some ideas:
qlipper (clipboard manager)needs to be built with qt5 ( gtk2
clipper or
parcellite might do)
smplayer for a mplayer gui(i have a qt5 version extracted from 003-kde5 if you want it)
(cosmetic)
qt5ct https://sourceforge.net/projects/qt5ct/ for qt5 theme config & make qt & gtk widget themes sync..( and lxqt-qt5ct)
https://github.com/zatherz/lxqt-qt5ct/commits/master
might be a bit painful to compile...

Is there a way to get pcmanfm-qt to run root^?
Thanks.

I think LXImage-Qt already does that.

here ya go:
https://mega.nz/#!fRQXBLpC
there seems to be a small bug with it not knowing what version of mplayer its using and a dialog asking confirmation pops up... works fine otherwise..
(have check whether this happening in kde too)
fulalas wrote:I think LXImage-Qt already does that.
you may be confusing 'clipping an image' with what a clipboard manager does:
stores all text(and object info?) thats been recently copied for handy retrieval for pasting..

Can confirm. Also pops up default browser with page of new SMPlayer abilities. One disadvantage is that was not able to seek on the playback, neither forward not backward by klicking with mouse on timeline. So had to sort out a vlc bundle, without qt as otherwise clashes with kde's. 8)
