'tiny-desktop-v1.1' is ready

Here is a place for your projects which are not officially supported by the Porteus Team. For example: your own kernel patched with extra features; desktops not included in the standard ISO like Gnome; base modules that are different than the standard ISO, etc...

Chnages:
Add conky theme by 'geazzy' adapted from ubuntu to porteus here is blog 'geazzy's'http://geazzy-corner.blogspot.com
add icons to desktop
logged as guest is now available
add rc.4 script by Ahau (big thanks you)
thanks to fanthom for helping me with remove small bugs.

How to install and boot
I prefer put package 'tiny-desktop' to optional directory and run as 'load=tiny-desktop' cheatcode option, example cheatcode:

Code: Select all

load=tiny-desktop-v1.1.xzm tiny autoexec=xconf;telinit~4
or

Code: Select all

load=tiny-desktop-v1.1.xzm tiny autoexec=xconf;slim
first option is not good for my laptop :unknown:

In Pictures directory is small image 200x140 pix 'current.png' is in right top corner desktop, you can change to girlfriend picture or your dog or another pictures but you must remeber must be name 'current.png'.

great work crashman!

Graphics design is awesome :)
the only thing is wallpaper - i would replace it with less contrast colors (this is only my opinion).

will do more testing after releasing Porteus-1.0 :)

Cheers

To change a wallpaper you need only right click on to image and you choice 'set as wallpaper' and save your changes, but you're right old wallpaper is not fresh.

Cheers
