Here is a place for your projects which are not officially supported by the Porteus Team. For example: your own kernel patched with extra features; desktops not included in the standard ISO like Gnome; base modules that are different than the standard ISO, etc...

apologize - i thought it was intended as PPM replacement.

btw: there is nothing wrong with suggesting other/better package managers.
one just need to convince me and other devs that they are really better - which is a hard task :)

I just fell on this interesting thread by bigbass. This wrapper around gslapt and the possibility of increasing the pasture of gslapt out of salix seems very interesting.

work only for the slackbuild,and is too old like software, slpkg do the task better than this one and once again porteus have good tool to work with packages.

And why not sbopkg? which of slpkg and sbokg is the simpler and most efficient sbo package builder?
