https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.ph ... d0#p232191 and slightly different on https://discourse.flathub.org/t/quick-s ... are/3101/2
Does anyone know the answer here?
Who has experience with installing a flatpak on Porteus / creating a Port module out of a flatpak?
Up to now I got no answers on either forum.Rava wrote: I was looking into installing it via flatpak - but https://flatpak.org/setup/ gives me a long list of OS to choose from for the Quick Setup - but not my OS, Slackware.
What do I do to install Telegram flatpak for Slackware 15 x86-64?

hi Rava, getmod have all the software you need to build a flatpak package you have to install also glib-networking, telegram work on porteus but the flatpak directory is near 4 giga of sspace you know flatpak have to load a desktop environment to play with flathub and if you try: you have to place this in a good way or telegram loader do not run...
flatpak install telegram
Note that the directories
'/var/lib/flatpak/exports/share'
'/home/guest/.local/share/flatpak/exports/share'
are not in the search path set by the XDG_DATA_DIRS environment variable, so
applications installed by Flatpak may not appear on your desktop until the
session is restarted.

Does that mean when the Porteus Telegram module got created, I always have to load the 4 GB dependencies to run it?
Or is the 4 GB only the build environment, similar to our 05-devel module?
Cheers!

Also, got an answer on https://discourse.flathub.org/t/quick-s ... kware/3101
There’s no quicksetup for Slackware at this time (if anyone who uses Slackware wants to contribute them, that would be awesome ), but there are these instructions here: SlackBuilds.org - flatpak
