I need a new latest version of skype for my mom very much, she is accostumed to use windows latest version with different thingies. 4.3 is so bad for her, that she cry every day and ask me to return "as it was before" (on windows) but her notebook is so weak, that other OSes work really bad and slow, so Porteus is the best choice. I tryed to use wine for skype 6.0, 7.0 but it refused to work (cant login), if anybody help me with making module would be great and get a huge karma!

It seems there is no newer skype for Linux version than 4.3
I looked up all other Linux variants on pkgs.org, the newest versions is 4.3: http://pkgs.org/search/skype

So, nope, as long as there is no 5.x or 6.x Skype for linux, we cannot give it to you...All you need to get started is Skype for Linux version 4.3, a webcam for video calls and a microphone.
