Krusader 2.4.0 dependency error

Hi,

by using my last Krusader package (krusader-2.4.0_beta3-x86_64-1cf.xzm) I got this error message when I check in command line :
$ krusader
krusader: error while loading shared libraries: libnepomukutils.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Does somebody have a working krusader version on the last Porteus v3.0 ?

Sincerely thanks and have a nice day,

Miguipda ;-)

try to install nepomuk-core from alien's Ktown repo:
http://alien.slackbook.org/ktown/curren ... 86_64/kde/

some other deps may also be pulled from there.

Dear phantom,

sorry but with this converted module I also got the same error problem even after a reboot of my computer.
"krusader
krusader: error while loading shared libraries: libnepomukutils.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

Any idea by somebody already use Krusader on its computer with the last Porteus v3.0 on 64 bits ?

Sincerely thanks and have a ncie day,

Miguipda ;-)

1.0 krusader-2.4.0beta1-x86_64-1dj.txz

libnepomukutils missing does not make sense:

Code: Select all

root@porteus:/var/abs/core/nano/pkg# slocate libnepomukutils
/usr/lib64/libnepomukutils.so
/usr/lib64/libnepomukutils.so.4
/usr/lib64/libnepomukutils.so.4.8.0
According to some kde forum you need kdelib5.(Dam, I lost the link)

Missing kdelib5:
http://ftp.br.debian.org/debian/pool/ma ... -2_all.deb

2.0 The slackware 14.0 version seems to work perfectly with porteus 3.0 krusader-2.4.0.beta3-x86_64-1sl.txz:
http://repository.slacky.eu/slackware64 ... 64-1sl.txz

It loads on my 3.0 installation without any additional library.

seems that this lib is part of kdelibs package:
http://alien.slackbook.org/ktown/curren ... 1alien.txz

please convert to xzm and extract only this lib then add to your setup as installing whole package may break our KDE in Porteus.

Pehaps it dos not make sense but have a look and you will see that even the slocate command give a strange error.
I am sure I had download the last 64 bit version with KDE, Firefox and print + Development tools. I checked it with the md5 and all was ok.

Then I could ask myself why this krusader does not work and also that this common slocate command give an error. I do not really understand.

Code: Select all

root@porteus:/mnt/sda4/porteus/modules# activate krusader-2.4.0.beta3-x86_64-1sl.xzm
Updating shared library links: /sbin/ldconfig
Updating KDE menu: kbuildsycoca4
root@porteus:/mnt/sda4/porteus/modules# krusader
krusader: error while loading shared libraries: libnepomukutils.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
root@porteus:/mnt/sda4/porteus/modules# slocate libnepomukutils
bash: slocate : commande introuvable

Have a nice day,

@miguipda:

Did you tried fanthom suggestion? This might solve your problem.

If not you will have to find the guy who setted up krusader for slackware. As I said on debian it comes with kde5.
