Hi, I am looking for DICOM module working on Porteus V5.01 XFCE to read medicals images from CD. ( scan, MRI)
Where can I find it please?

hi benjibasson,i have build the packages that i suppose are useful for you,but we have the same problem my build environment is current,maybe work or maybe not, try if work for you: there are two files into the directory

Unfortunately it doesn't work because of versions. 15.
In fact I have a working dicom on another PC 200km away, but I don't remember it's name ( appli java ou python ?)

hi,with a spare usb i have installed a porteus stock but the build of the packages fail,so why don't try a porteux current if you have a device,i think you have a lot of software version too new for the slackware version,is just an hint

not in this case
anything listed on SBO
should compile in a slackware-15.0 environment.
in this case porteus-5.01 is missing: gconf(make), gtkmm (and gtk2)
here's a bundled module:
aeskulap-02.2-x86_64-bundle.xzm
it contains:
aeskulap-0.2.2_e710562d-x86_64-1_SBo.tgz
dcmtk-3.6.8-x86_64-1_SBo.tgz
gtkmm2-2.24.5-x86_64-4.txz
it requires: gtk+2 which if you don't have, can be gotten via bundles or getpkg
tested on a sample .DCM from here:

Hi, I would like to run this dicom browser

unfortunaly pmod neither slapt-mod find any java
