I would like to run the apps image Kdenlive kdenlive-23.08.5-x86_64.AppImage but I got

I tryed sqq to get more accurate deps but it doesn't know kdenlive

hi kdenlive is a software of kde plasma so no slackbuild,and for run the appimage you need a current or a porteux current because you need the glibc 38 or 39 to work with appimage so we have the same trouble with audacity...have you solved or not,.. if you have a spare usb try the porteux current download also the devel package and enjoy

https://slackware.uk/slackware/slackwar ... 6_64-1.txz
doesn't have libstdc++.so.6

and libstdc++.so.6 doesn't match result for slackware on https://pkgs.org

the appimage work on porteux current 1.0 i have to upgrade yet to 1.1 the porteux current have the glibc2.38 if you have also the devel package is better with the porteus stock you can download kdenlive from salix via slapt-mod enable the salix repository

the slackware 15 version so the 21.12.1, you can't i think because upgrade is like a domino some software depend on other upgrade and so on is better to change system version,but i can go wrong on this...

But I can't try glibc 39 because libstdc++.so.6 ar not in glibc repoorted from pkgs.org

hi, libstdc++.so.6 is a generic link name of the glibc you see always the same but the version number change,if you want something like a current system try porteux current you have the last software version of the system.

I albready try Porteux, but what disturb me is that there is no more porteus's tools like Porteus setting centre, update-browser, update-libreoffice.
I don't undertand how do you know my glibc is too hold for Kdenlive's appimage.
where did you get this information? I didn't found any appimage's requirement about minimal glibc version 39 from https://kdenlive.org/
