Porteus

Hello All!
I was introduced to Porteus in June 2023, i.e., a couple of months ago. I'm using Porteus-5.0_cinnamon (suites my taste). I liked it instantly, as I've been testing various linux distros.

Well coming back to the topic, I've created some custom .xzm modules of various applications that I have been using in other linux OSs and not available in porteus.

Additionally, I've modified a few modules already found on the forum (i.e., adding additional features).

Also I've got custom made ISO that I've created containing various tweaks, changes, wallpapers, themes, cursors, icons, etc. with additional modules like:

• opera browser

• custom firefox browser (updated settings and ublock)

• custom wps-office

• additional fonts

• master-PDF editor 5

• gimp

• inkscape

• prospect-mail (outlook client)

• uget downloader

• wine

and many more apps, so you get to work instantly.

Thanks Ed_P, that was easy, I've already used file sharing services earlier. It was just that I haven't used mediafire for file uploads, except for downloads.

How come you didn't use it for all the modules?

As said, I already use Mega https://mega.io/, so I had upladed a few files there earlier.

Well, in this case I must say, "no" it does not. However, there are minor changes in the settings like:

1. Ask where to save downloads,

2. Default dark color scheme.

3. Application content actions.

4. Pre-installed ublock ad-blocker.

Can be implemented.

StopAll Ads is the name that shows in my Firefox Add-ons Manager window under Enabled. But I don't see it in Firefox's Extensions list anymore. Firefox apparently is recommending Adblock Plus now. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... r-firefox/
