hi coa the script work well for the stable and for the others for this release:/mnt/sdg1/porteus/modules/blender-3.4.0-x86_64-en-US.xzm you have to search in the browser blender beta download the tar on the site put it in /tmp and also the script update-blender and start it when it is ready put on modules.
ps:you have the devel package if not download it and put it on base directory
the link for the 3.4.0-alpha tar.xz, https://builder.blender.org/download/daily/

shouldn't need 05-devel for this ..
maybe try:

Code: Select all

lsxzm <the_blender_module_you_made_with_the_script>
and post the output.. might tell us what's wrong..
you did activate the module, right?

hi maybe the script make a repack of the tar.xz into the slackware way i have build blender from git and the core is about 1500mb,ok for the devel but is better we have it inside the system,if one day we wish to build a kernel, btw good script.

that's very strange .. seems something's amiss with your setup..
can you post the output of:

Code: Select all

cat /etc/bootcmd.cfg

Code: Select all

ls /mnt/live/memory/images
