Could it be possible to make Qmmp capable of playing ape-files?
The appropriate plugin needs ffmpeg package, which I can't find
antwhere. Up to now your porteus1.rc works like a charm on my
Toshiba Satelite L300-11M.
Cheers

@logic
Unfortunately i can't provide this functionality. APE files are not very popular and ffmpeg needs plenty of deps (which needs other deps) and i would like to stay under 300MB ISO.
Mplayer can play APE files so i can suggest to use Smaplayer (which has a playlist) or compile qmmp package with ffmpeg support. here is the Slackbuild:
http://www.slackware.org.uk/slacky/slac ... 0.5.0/src/
Sorry about that.
Please add [Solved] to your thread title if the solution was found.
