Hi,

1)
Download this

2)
Unpack it as guest

3)
Execute the "TeamViewer" as Guest

and Make a module if you want.

Mmmm... it includes a whole wine environment...

I've wine configured and running for some stuffs, maybe I can try directly the "quick support" version for win, without trashing my other things.

Thanks anyway for the hint.

EDIT
No, mine was not a good idea.

I made a module for you.

1) Download this
2) Install it
3) Run it via terminal with teamviewer6 command.

It is a modified version, It can be run from any accounts (even root account)

Modifications:
-Removed "check of current user before the start of the GUI"

Enjoy!

This seems to work as expected. thanks, I'll try and prepare a monkey-proof iso with some shortcuts on the desktop and some changes in a module.

By the way, I begin to think slow (my age?); In my previous posts I worried about trashing a wine environment, but it was my own.
The recipient(s) don't use wine at all.

hi,
if you want to help other one , you can register in (Teamviewer site) and log in to any computer as client from your browser without install software,
<=>
but if you want other people to help you then you need to install TeamViewer software on your computer.

Didn't know about this feature, anyway it's useless for my purpose now.
I should provide a couple of laptops for aged/not skilled people, and I want to assure remote mainteinance. So, the problem is in the other side of the wires, where I only can count on hardware and network both working well. In this side I have an half dozen of OS and can install anything. So I planned to provide one CD, for emergency boot, with some kind of unattended remote help. Just working on this.
