Chromium-33 is exactly what porteus is providing, for 32bit architecture:
http://ponce.cc/porteus/i486/current/modules/

Alien Bob version is Chromium-35:
http://www.slackware.com/~alien/slackbu ... /pkg/14.1/

Though if you have time, it takes five hours to compile, I imagine that you can recompile chromium-33 with the appropriate Chromium-33 tar.gz (which I could not find nowhere on the net):
http://alien.slackbook.org/blog/chromiu ... nd-pepper/

Maybe you should ask alien bob for it source!

But chromium and chrome are different packages.
Porteus have chrome package only.

I do not intend to build chromium from source.

Thanks wread

But your chromium is 25.0.1323.1 (167142) version.

I found a module chromium 34 which was lost. This version is the latest GTK+ version.
Aura is now being used, which in my opinion is not stable.
The new version from the 35 does not have built-in flash player, only via pepperflash.
