i don't know how to use USM, its giving me error with "LIBS.TXT" when i try to download webcore fonts. please make webcore fonts available or at least a tutorial on how to install them. thank you.

Google is your friend with keywords webcore fonts slackware and then navigating to get the appropriate architecture and slackware version 14.1 compatible with porteus 3.0 if usm does not yield the package, find the slackware package on the net, read the other threads on the forum and read the faq please):

Download:
http://www.slackware.com/~alien/slackbu ... 2alien.tgz

Right click on the tgz package and with contextual menu transform it in xzm.

Google is your friend with keywords (it could include porteus), this is basic when using linux. Please also read the threads of others see:
