Dear Sirs:
I would like to have a mind mapping software on Porteus.
Even though I searched topics and USM, I couldn't find
FreeMind, FreePlane or Xmind.
Any recommendation and suggestion would be appreciated.
Where am I able to find
FreeMind1.0.1.xzm for i486?

@freestyler!
Thank you for your taking time to build freemind.tgz for me. I appreciate that
you kindly made it so quickly. Very impressed!
I'm going to download it to test. I understood it requires JDK.
To be honest, I would like to have version 1.0.1 - a bug fix release for 1.0.0,
but I don't have any skill to build it from the source yet because I am still
a novice in Linux.
Do you know any homepage or blog which shows how to build a module
with screen shots for Porteus 3.0? Or even for slackware?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks, freestyler!
I could download these two files through 3G wifi 200kbps.
What I am going to do is transform *.txz and *tgz to xzm.
Do you have any idea if one can merge those two in one xzm file?
Anyway I try to do xzm first and report it later. Thanks.

to merge them you can extract them and copy the contents into the same folder, delete the install folder and convert into xzm

I am now converting FreeMind using "Convert tgz/txz to xzm...".
It seems it finished, but I can not find the converted xzm file in the same folder.
Downloaded file size is 37.5MB at home/guest/Downloads. Anything wrong?

Yes, something is wrong by you, does it work with other packages? You can try USM -> Tools -> Porteus module tools -> and choose correct action.

By having renewed my USB flash drive to ext4 linux file system,
"Convert tgz/txz to xzm..." works fine so that I could get
freemind-1.0.1-noarch-1_fs.xzm
Thank you very much
freestyler and
tome!
