1.1 Porteus icon (click on it)
- keyword icon
- midori (as keyword) will yield: midori-0.3.5
- download it.
1.2 Slackware icon (click on it)
- search slacky with midori keyword
You will get:
- midori-0.3.5-i486-1sl.txz
Follow the instructions to get it converted into a porteus or xzm module. Dependencies should be resolved by PPM.
2) Download midori:
http://repository.slacky.eu/slackware-1 ... 86-1sl.txz
Once downloaded right click on the .txz file and select one of the last actions on the menu:
action < select tgz/txz to xzm. This should also work if there is no additional library needed

When you pull the standard slack packages, it will bring in a lot of deps. It won't run without webkit, icu, libsoup (iirc), ca-certificates, glib-networking, etc. It does use less RAM than Firefox, but the number and size of dependencies (plus more familiarity with firefox) is what keeps it out of the Porteus-Xfce iso.

It seems that I not that much informed about these 3g modems, defined in:
3G
Dongle HUAWEI E173 would be a 3g modem.

And it does not work, because although it claims all dependencies are satisfied, when you start it it complains about glib-networking missing, and stays that way.
