DebianDog Installer (Puppy Linux) - "installer for frugall/full USB/HDD using grub4dos/syslinux with option to install from iso or directory". It can install MBR exclusively.

2024-06-17 - After 2 years my mbr installed by DebianDog Installer 2015 stopped working (ssd, some partitions, not all in order, current version of ext4 with journal).
BTW older linuxes with ext4 support can't read current ext4 partitions with new options enabled.
On my laptop don't work latest 0.4.6a grldr files, only grub.exe or 0.4.5c grldr.

The GRUB4DOS Installer looks interesting. I still use GRUB4DOS on my non-EFI machine but it is via the Windows boot loader.
