This installer automatically install Grub4DOS bootloader to first partiton of first HDD

This installer creates Grub2DOS menu with Windows and Remix Linux boot options.

Installer works for 32-bit and 64-bit Remix versions.

Supports Remix installation on any file systems(even NTFS) on any partiton of HDD with Windows installed.

Using this installer you could start Remix from the same partition as Windows or other partions(with any filesystem sypported by Linux) on same HDD

This installer works only from Linux.

How to Install ---

For installation extract catalog grub4dos from http://falcony.googlecode.com/files/gru ... ler.tar.gz
and place this catalog to boot catalog of your Remix Linux.

cp -R grub4dos boot

Then copy slax and boot catalogs of Remix to one of HDD partition.

Note. This installer works only if you already have installed Windows(Windows 2000, XP, Vista or 7) on your HDD. If you would like to have Remix installed as only one OS - please use extinstall installer http://porteus.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=106

then change directory to boot/grub4dos on partinion where to you copied boot and slax catalog.

E.g if for example you copy boot and slax catlogs to /mnt/sda2 then you need change directory to

cd /mnt/sda2/boot/grub4dos

Then run grub4dosinst.sh installer

./grub4dosinst.sh

and press several times Enter to accept

That's all. Reboot you PC, eject CD or USB and you select one of booting option

I tested it on 2 real PCs(notebooks) with windows installed - works for me perfectly.

Sure - try, bettter in some Virtulal box for fist time

But do not forget to install Windows to HDD before
