Hello porteus people,
have some little weird device to try porteus boot

lenovo miix 320-10icr 80xf

Its hybrid laptop/tablet and boot menu is only from uefi (even if i disabled secure boot mode).

Its some way to using my Porteus USB which is formated for ext2?

Thanks in advance

Partition the USB to have a FAT32 EFI partition and copy the Porteus EFI directory to it.

 I don't know what to tell you vanAuss. I've never made a configuration like yours. Mine are all FAT32. :)

Maybe redoing the whole install process would work, ie wiping the ext2 drive and EFI drive, recopying the files and running the install would work for you.

Exactly this was made - make whole new, clean instalation on USB with FAT32. I can boot by EFI now, but it freeze and the screen is turned like in the picture what i send in Last poat.

Its some way how to fix it?

looks to be tricky, but possible :
https://askubuntu.com/questions/935657/ ... n-miix-320
https://esc.sh/blog/linux-on-lenovo-miix-320/
nomodeset kernel parameter comes up a bit(goes on the APPEND line), probably try that first..
but since you're freezing at the boot screen, i'd be guessing it's kernel related, maybe firmware missing..
you could try one the newer kernels here: Porteus Kernel Builder (scroll down to the examples section) (no guarantees it'll work)
>> to use, swap out <USB>/porteus/base/000-kernel.xzm and <USB>/boot/syslinux/vmlinuz
there's other stuff like how to fix the screen rotation in those links above..

Thank you ncmprhnsbl very much for your care about my problem. I studied all infos from link above. I tried nomodeset and the rotate:1 on this miix320 don't work. On another Lenovo laptop its works (except the rotate:1 of course)

Now I must try the newest Kernel. Its big challenge for novice like me :worthy:
