I did not see elsewhere in the forum a topic about hardware compatibility.
And decided to start with my list.

I have tested:

With Porteus v5.0 32bit:
Toshiba Satellite L200
HP Mini 210 (Porteus v5.0rc3 32bit with b43-firmware wi-fi)

With Porteus v5.0 x86_64:
HP Elitebook 8530W
Lenovo T61, T400, T440, T510, T540p
Lenovo L410 (with intel_wifi_6300)
DELL Latitude 5500 (bluetooth not working)

We can list the devices and then make a more complete list!

I have used Porteus v5.0 x86_64 on an Acer Aspire 5 (A517-52-530V), but wifi, bluetooth, and sound doesn't work.

Update:
I was able to copy a driver (all the iwlwifi-QuZ files) from another linux distro (MX Linux) (thanks Ed_p! (see next post)) to get the WIFI working.

Update 2:
I ended up doing a bit of modification in this thread Bluetooth and sound did not work, and after updating my kernel to 6.1, wifi worked on it's own. Also according to that thread, I added a couple modules and now sound and bluetooth also work (Yippee!)

We can add another one to the list!

I use Porteus v5.0 x86_64 on a Dell Inspiron 14. Wifi needs a iwlwifi-QuZ driver module.

Presently, I have 4 versions of 5.01, Openbox/XFCE/LXDE/LXQT, on a Ventoy pendrive plugged into one of my HP T520 thin clients, 4GB ram, 1.2GHz dual core, AMD graphics, (no disk).

All seem to work well booting 'live' - wifi works using a USB stick, & I have sound working straight out of the box. :)
