and I was searching for a good replacement with wpa3 support - the mt7921e aka AMD RZ608 is a good and cheap wifi 6e which is supported in kernel 5.18

yes I know - but I hope, there will be kernel updates - with 5.18.19 we reached the end of kernel 5.18 - I think the next one after 5.19 will be 6.0

THX Blaze - I had really stress the last 2 month, so no time playing with the toy...... I do not change anything, when I am in production mode....

I use now your 5.19.11 kernel and the card works like a charm out of the box - I can watch films on places in the house, where I could not even connect to the router - I recommend everybody, who has a M.2 / NGFF KEY E 2230 slot and is not happy with the internet speed to change to this card......

EDIT: !! The card may not work with Lenovo, Compaq and HP Laptops !! - bios lock
