Connect 2 mouse with different cursors

Is it possible to set up 2 computer mice with 2 different cursors and make 1 of them invisible?

It might depend on your DE?
In XFCE, it is not (at least not by default, with what the DE gives you). I can set up the internal mouse (its a laptop) and the external mouse (an Optical 3 Button with scroll-wheel USB one), but both are the same mouse cursor on the desktop. By default both are active, but both do control the same visible mouse cursor.
