Here you can post about your various experiences with PC hardware. You can also post about hardware that is not compatible with the linux kernel or not recommended for use with Porteus.

I will be getting new small form factor cases for my ARM and x86 mITX mobos so I can compute on the go.

For my Pine Clusterboard (in black)...

For my Ryzen I'm thinking of this case (in black)...

With this compact cooler...

This docking station looks like it will provide a good solution...

Next month I will probably pick up this mITX...

:hmmm: I do NOT have the "right" to tell anyone what they should do...
but I reserve the "right" to tell them what they should "consider".

I intend to stop working on Porteus using bare metal
so I'm looking @ secure distro's to run it inside Qemu.

I've been playing around with Void Linux lately.
I like the secure combo (for starters) of... busybox... musl and libressl.

Here is a thread about remastering Void with additional packages...
https://github.com/void-linux/void-mklive

I will probably add... qemu... TkDVD... xfe... and flisomaker.

I'm also flirting with Blue Dragon Gentoo @...
