Here you can post about your various experiences with PC hardware. You can also post about hardware that is not compatible with the linux kernel or not recommended for use with Porteus.

I did some additional research... my rig is heterogeneous it actually uses a Many-task computing strategy. :o
:hmmm: I do NOT have the "right" to tell anyone what they should do...
but I reserve the "right" to tell them what they should "consider".

Ok... got half the ramdrive memory in the mail yesterday.
Checked my tracking on the video card... it will arrive Monday.

I got my GPU yesterday!!!

And I just discovered 2 Supermicro 16 core 32 thread boards w/ a whopping 256gb of ECC DDR4 ram...
https://www.supermicro.com/products/mot ... -HLN4F.cfm
https://www.supermicro.com/products/mot ... H-TP4F.cfm

So what are we talking about? A massively parallel 16 core 256gb system w/ 32gb of ramdrive swap?

Hmmm... that's 16gb of ram and 4gb of swap per core :worship:

$900 (USD) :sos:
see... https://www.amazon.com/Supermicro-A2SDi ... B076J1R1Q6

Looks like I might have to take a hammer to my piggybank :hammer:

Ran into trouble last night installing the GPU.
The mITX board requires a custom riser.

I'll probably pick one up on the 1st.

I also located a friend w/ a Dremel but I'm not sure if he has a diamond or tungsten
rotary blade that can remove the steel chassis standoffs so I can install the ramdrive.

And I still don't have the rest of the ramdrive memory :wall:
I think it's time to give Amazon a call.
