Porteus and debian

New features which should be implemented in Porteus; suggestions are welcome. All questions or problems with testing releases (alpha, beta, or rc) should go in their relevant thread here, rather than the Bug Reports section.

Porteus and debian

Post#1 by ralcocer » 02 Mar 2019, 13:17

I have ended up back to Porteus thanks to the author of Kernel Builder he was gratefull enough to make a 64gb kernel module and now I have use of the 8gb memory in my system. Don't know why my debian live will not do OpenGL, my main use is for 3D-printing and Porteus has it from the start.

However I made a Debian iso using this http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=112784 and https://github.com/DebianDog/MakeLive to make your own flavor,
right now I am trying to figure out how to get openGL working and the porteus activate and deactivate running, The only reasonI am doing this is that I need someting to do after retirement and I want to keep my mind working.
