I am pleased to post an update of my desktop that have improved with better settings and a new appearance that could be change it from Openbox's menu.
-compositing is disable , this could be Enable editing autostart.sh from Openbox as well as other applications, conky is not toggled with the command super+d.
-parcellite is replaced with Clipman from Xfce to have better practices. "Porteus have included everything that is necessary to have a modern Openbox"
-Now every packages are splitted into Folders, so its easy to customize everything.

Still perfect and responsive with Porteus 4 XFCE stable, download link below.

I'm aware of this. Still, I can't download it from the second link. Please, build a full xzm module and upload it to a website like Mediafire or teach this stupid guy how to download from your Dropbox page :D

there is a Download button at the top right>dropdown menu appears>choose Direct download (don't click on the ignis folder: this just shows the contents of the tar.gz) :D

Thanks evergreen. Anyway Fprot can work with Cinnamon or other DEs?

Yes should work perfectly cause it's from the official Fprot webpage.. I just created this xzm according to the default installation described in the read file

Inside the compressed file are two xzm antivirus and datebase.

There is a small script too that I made into Ignis_desktop to use Fprot but nothing real important.

;)

Yes, inside the download I saw the two Fprot xzm files but I didn't see a script. I'll look again later.

Thanks evergreen. :)

With both fp-link xzm modules active I find nothing for Fprot in /home/guest/Desktop, /usr/share/applications, the Porteus Menu or

Code: Select all

guest@porteus:~$ su
Password:
root@porteus:/home/guest# Fprot
bash: Fprot: command not found
root@porteus:/home/guest# fprot
bash: fprot: command not found
root@porteus:/home/guest# fp
bash: fp: command not found
root@porteus:/home/guest# fp-linux
bash: fp-linux: command not found
root@porteus:/home/guest#
I understand your module is for Ignis rather than Cinnamon so I'll keep playing with this.

I should explain a little bit.

There is two things to use with fprot, first fpscan and fpupdate that works only in the folder (/usr/local/f-prot/) on other hand wherever you are you could call fpscan in the terminal.

for example:
fpscan --output=/home/guest/logfile.log --report --archive=99 --adware --applications --scanlevel=3 --heurlevel=2 /home/guest

and with that should be enough to scan, with --disinfect --deleteall instead --report fprot can delete the infected files... checkout a little bit fprot is very easy to use.

greetings
