mplayer can not display subtitle !!

New features which should be implemented in Porteus; suggestions are welcome. All questions or problems with testing releases (alpha, beta, or rc) should go in their relevant thread here, rather than the Bug Reports section.

Have you installed the Arabic Encodage ?
There are only 10 kind of people in this world, those who can read binary and those who can't.

another thing !
it will be better if move 'mplayer + mencoder' to '001-core'.
because, if I delete '004-kde + 005-kde-apps' , then I can not use mplayer on 'LXDE' !!
thanks.

"it will be better if move 'mplayer + mencoder' to '001-core'."
mplayer needs other libs from 004 and 005 and moving them all probably makes no sense.
Fortunately, 'module-tools' has an options for extracting packages from a module and merging them into a new one. Separating mplayer+libs should be no problem anymore (if module-tools work correctly - have reported an issue with 'extpkg' to brokenman long time ago. i hope it's fixed now)

EDIT://
seems that extpkg and rempkg were just dropped.... please find solution up here:

I am currently rewriting modtools for Xdialog and can include rempkg and extpkg no problem.

"I am currently rewriting modtools for Xdialog and can include rempkg and extpkg no problem."
that would be great as more people are asking for rempkg and extpkg :)
