New modules (32 and 64) - Systematically add to PPM

I,

as we could find some new modules in both 32 and 64 bit forum why are they not automatically add to PPM.
Or better better it ould be considered to add two forum thread called New available modules on PPM that will tell us that new modules have effectively been added in the PPM after a time of test (made by Porteus team). It could be more efficient in place of downloading modules from place which are not controled and that coud modify user profiles (and perhaps like me loosing sound ;-) )

Then please consider this more efficient way by inserting new modules in PPM after a period of test but telling us (in a new forum thread that new modules have been added on PPM).

Have a nice day,

Miguipda ;-)

user modules comes with different quality (some are good, some are bad), deps are sometimes resolved and sometimes not.
we could make an experiment and create a thread for modules which supposed to be pushed to official repo.
there will be some strict requirements which needs to be followed by module maintainers.
will do this right now - thanks for suggestion.

EDIT:\\
thread created:

this feature is already there. you can watch repo changelog through the browser:
http://www.porteus.org/info/repositories.html
(seems to be currently broken - i'm sure Hamza will fix this soon)

or enable notifications about new modules (one requirement - you must be saving changes) directly in PPM:
Settings -> Preferences -> mark 'new module notification'

Hi,

this is why we could hesitate to add some modules if they are not correctly made (dependencies respect).
This is also why people who made modules must follow some rules given by the Porteus team. And for me I presume that all new module must be proposed to somebody of the team that will check if it has been made correctly. If well it could then be added to the PPM and then informed in the new forum thread (New module added in the PPM) and if not the "checker guy" will inform who made the module to ask modification to respect rules edicted by Porteus team. If it correct it the module will one day appear in the PPM (after checking) if not it will always stay in the current existing modules thread (for 32 and 64).

Sincerely thans to take this in consideration. It will upgrade the serious of Porteus.

Have a nice day,

Miguipda ;-)
