Once again: Porteus vs Porteux
Now that the Porteus v5.1-alpha ISOs are available my question "what is the target of the Porteus distribution as compared to the target of the Porteux distribution?" pops up again ...

alpha looks good with fresh KDE and LXQT
cpu heavy libaom is finally replaced with libdav1d
update-libreoffice now works without 05-devel module
slapt-mod is missing file etc\slapt-get\slapt-modrc
slapt-mod not finding intel-media-driver package needed for hardware decode on integrated intel gpu
slapt-mod not finding picom package needed for fixing screen tearing in lxqt (change "backend = "xrender";" to "backend = "glx";" in etc\picom.conf)

I am now using PorteuX 1.8 stable Xfce
It boots faster than Porteus.
However, I'm experiencing printer problems (see: After upgrading from PorteuX 0.4 to PorteuX 1.8 : Printer doesn't print)
I hope I can get some help
Thanks

If you change the compression of the modules to ZSTD (like in PorteuX), especially the base modules, You will even the time.
Also most programs will start faster !
