I will try to build a updated copy of the old porteus.

New features which should be implemented in Porteus; suggestions are welcome. All questions or problems with testing releases (alpha, beta, or rc) should go in their relevant thread here, rather than the Bug Reports section.

can you give me a workflow how can i build the slackware-based porteus.
The old porteus is too good that i can let them die.

It is a littlebit crazy that where Porteus is perfect (the USM is a great work) the evolution stops.

Why do you think the old porteus is too good to let die ThailandEscortsList? Have you not heard about Porteus 5.0?

One thing you could do, is to revive USM if you may. It needed a rewriting. Brokenman the author thought that it could be rewritten in python. We can help you find the original files on the system. Or you can just have a look at the git:
https://github.com/brokenman/usm

What was interesting with USM, was that it was unique in providing installation for already built packages and slackbuild, included dependency resolution, was adapted to porteus, thus providing as an end result xzm modules. The covered pasture was wide, many additional repositories to slackware basic installation.

Concerning the actual porteus 5.0, difficult to do better. Really, it is an improvement over the previous versions. What do you mean by: the old version was perfect?
