New Trinity config vote

I am currently building the latest Trinity desktop (3.5.13) which has seen quite a few changes from the older version (3.5.12). If anybody has any suggestions on what they think should be included in the base TDE (Trinity Desktop Environment) please answer in this thread.

I will start with a vote for a major aspect of the desktop. The menu. Would you prefer the newer version menu (kickstart as seen in KDE4) or do you prefer the current simple menu in? I prefer the simple (with a search option) but would like to hear from other users.

Porteus should be the fastest possible so it the new menu make it slow..I don't think users will like it.

The menu in kde4 is probably the most aggravating feature of kde4 for me. Not that it's awful -- it just seems less intuitive (maybe I'm just used to the simpler layout of kde3, lxde and xfce?), and I do like kde4 in general. I don't like how many mouse clicks it can sometimes take to find what I'm looking for. I vote to retain the classic layout. It's not as eye-candy-tastic, I know...but it's functional and clean.

Media player.

Noatun mediaplayer with winamp skin (looks very good) or stay with audacious.

The noatun media player has many more options i think including tagging. While compiling i can now appreciate how much has been stripped from the standard KDE for Porteus. There are Gb's of stuff i want to include! Time to get tough.

Drop koffice in favor of a decent word processor like abiword or something similar?

Does anyone actually use the features of koffice such as spreadsheet, kexi, kugar etc.?
