mksquashfs is your friend,when you don't know where the script that you need is located...
in terminal mksquashfs python-evdev-1.7.0-1-x86_64.pkg python-evdev-1.7.0-1-x86_64.xzm, the first is a directory where you have open the archive the second is the porteus package, you have also unsquashfs if you want to open a xzm package.

For remove unuseful packages you can unpack 07-printing-x86_64-2023-09-23.xzm module (as root user) to /tmp and run these commands in terminal

Great-- this gets me down to about 246 MiB (uncompressed) from the full 394 MiB. Quite a helpful reduction when running in RAM (and still works fine of course).
