@beny
please make sure that your driver has porteus version included in the name (would be good to also have it in the name of the thread). this rule must apply to all kernel dependent modules to avoid confusion. this module, when used in porteus v09 can cause more bad things than good ones.

good example:
nVidia-260.19.36-porteus-v1.0_beta-x86_64.xzm

bad example:
nvidia-260.19.36.xzm

hi fanthom i have done a folder into the nvidia folder named porteus beta and into porteus beta there is the file for x86 version, if i do the x86_64 into this folder, the adress is porteus beta 32 bit 2.6.38. kernel,if you want i can upload 2.6.38. x86_64 version but isn't yet.

yes - this sound obvious, but when user download this file and mix up with other he may forget which nvidia module belongs to which version.
porteus version (or kernel) would be highly demanded in the name of xzm.
if we want to set (and follow) the standards - this is one which need to be set.

if you want can downloads nvidia driver for i486 and put on ponce repository at i486 section,and ok i have to do this ,only the last version of driver for v9 and v1 beta at mediafire,thanks for suggestion

Thanks Beny, will download and put on i486 server. I can't compile nvidia drivers.
