Gimp 2.6.11 available

Post#1 by don570 » 25 Jun 2012, 19:54

Gimp 2.6.11 available

This version is mature and stable (unlike version 2.7)
Lots of plugins and dependencies included which is why it's so big.

Benefits --->
Just need to install this package.
Works with wacom digitizing tablet.

EDIT:There is a version available from porteus downloads page
but it needs babl and gegl libraries to be installed as well. These are available
from Porteus downlads page

The reason why my package doesn't open or save Jpeg is because
it was compiled on Puppy linux. I should have checked this because I
have found in past that different version numbers for jpeg libraries cause lots of problems
during compiling , mtpaint is a good example.

The alternate version download is very good. :Yahoo!:
