LibreOffice-3.4.5-i486 for Porteus
Post#1 by wread » 26 Mar 2012, 02:20
This version corresponds to the one at Slackware 13.37. I downloaded it for 32 bits and converted it to xzm.
It works ok even under KDE4 (LibreOffice has had problems under this environment). It needs Java, also posted here months ago.

Porteus is proud of the FASTEST KDE ever made.....(take akonadi, nepomuk and soprano out and you will have a decent OS).

Would you suggest an easy way to have the langage pack of one's choice added to libreoffice? In my case, french would be appreciated. It would be nice to keep the langage pack separate of the main libreoffice module (did you found a download site for libreoffice slackware?)

@francois,
You're providing a link to a subforum where almost everyone talk French in a general forum where everyone talk English. Non-French speakers will not understand the content of the linked topic. You can avoid to confuses users by adding into this post that linked topic is written in French and LibreOffice package has been built for French Speakers use

@hamza: I think that there is confusion on the definition of a reference whether it be on this forum or in any document circulating in the world. It would be interesting that Ahau joins us for a discussion on the topic.
Please lets talk about that in the following thread:

Just wanted to avoid users to download french version if they're not French speakers as this version is fully translated in French
